Templates overview

Templates are reusable sprints and sessions you can copy to start new work quickly. Find them in the Template library.

Templates are reusable blueprints for your workshops. Instead of building a sprint or session from scratch each time, you save a well-structured one as a template and copy it whenever you need it again.

Why templates matter

  • Save time: start a new sprint or session with its agenda, drills and resources already in place.
  • Keep quality consistent: reuse formats that worked well with other groups.
  • Learn from SolveNext: use the global templates prepared by the SolveNext team.

Key concepts

  • Sprint templates: when you use one, every session in it is copied, with agenda items and resources.
  • Session templates: when you use one, its agenda items and resources are copied.
  • Personal templates: created by you and visible only to you. In the Created by column they show Me.
  • Global templates: created by SolveNext admins and available to all users. In the Created by column they show Solve Next.
  • License levels: some global templates are only for certain plans. If a template needs a higher plan, it shows a star icon and clicking it opens an upgrade message.
  • Tags: templates can have Tags and Next Cycle Tags, which you can use to filter the library.

Project templates are not available in the app at the moment.
