How to share a Project
Share a personal project with other SolveNext Lab users and find work others shared with you on the Shared with me page.
Sharing gives other SolveNext Lab users access to one of your personal projects. They are notified by email, and the project appears on their Shared with me page.
Before you start
- The Share button is only on project pages in your personal workspace (My Work). Projects in a team workspace are already available to all team members, so they have no Share button.
- The project list (Innovation Opportunities) has no Share option. You share from the project page.
Steps
- In the Instigator view, type the project's name in the search box in the header and click the project in the results. The project page opens.
- Above the sprint list, click Share.
- In the Share window, type in the search box (placeholder "Add people within the organization"). You can search by first name, last name or full email address.
- Tick the checkbox next to each person you want to share with.
- Click Add User.
Each person receives an email letting them know you shared the project with them.
The Shared with me page
To see projects, sprints and sessions others shared with you, click Shared with me in the Instigator sidebar.
- Use the Projects, Sprints and Sessions tabs to switch between types.
- The Projects tab shows each project's Name, number of Sprints and Sessions, Date added and Shared by.
- Click a project's name, or choose Detail in its ... menu, to open the project page.
- The ... menu also has Edit and Duplicate.
Tips
- People you share a project with can view, edit and duplicate it. Only you (the creator) can delete or archive it.
- The Shared with me page requires a paid license.
- To work on a project with a whole group, create it in a team workspace instead.
