Sharing overview
Share projects, sprints and sessions with other SolveNext Lab users, and send a public agenda link to anyone.
Sharing lets you give other SolveNext Lab users access to your projects, sprints and sessions. You can also copy a public link to an agenda and send it to anyone, even people without an account. Use sharing to collaborate with colleagues outside your team or to keep participants informed before a workshop.
Key concepts
- Share with a user: Gives another SolveNext Lab user access to a project, sprint or session. They get an email that tells them you shared something with them.
- Shared with me: The page where you see everything other users have shared with you, split into Projects, Sprints and Sessions tabs.
- One share per person: You can share an item with the same person only once. If you try again, you see a message such as "Session was already shared".
- Public agenda link: A read-only web page with the agenda of a session, sprint or project. Anyone with the link can open it without logging in.
- Play link: The link to a session in Play mode, which you can also share with participants. See the Play mode articles.
Where to find it
- Share a session: Open the session and click Share in its ... menu, or use Share in the ... menu of the session's row in the Sessions list.
- Share a sprint: Open the sprint and click Share, or use Share in the row menu of the Sprints list.
- Share a project: Open the project and click Share. This button is only shown in your personal workspace.
- Items shared with you: In the sidebar, click Shared with me.
- Public agenda link: Click Agenda on a session, sprint or project page, then click Copy link to agenda.
How sharing with a user works
- Click Share. A window opens with a search box ("Add people within the organization").
- Type a name, last name or full email address. Matching users appear in a list.
- Tick the checkbox next to each person you want to share with.
- Click Add User.
You can only share with people who already have a SolveNext Lab account.
Good to know
- Within a team workspace, team members already see the team's content, so sharing is mainly useful for personal items.
- The Shared with me page is not available on the free license. Free users see an upgrade message instead.
- The public agenda link shows the agenda only. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you trust.
