How to move a Session to a Team
Move a personal session into one of your teams so other team members can see and work on it.
Moving a session to a team takes it out of your personal workspace and puts it in the team's workspace, where team members can see it.
Before you start
- You must belong to at least one team.
- Moving works from your personal workspace. Click My Work in the workspace switcher, the narrow strip on the far left.
- The option is in the Sessions list, not on the session page.
Steps
- In the Instigator sidebar, under My work, click Sessions.
- Click the ... menu on the session's row.
- Under Teams, click Move to Team.
- In the Move to Team window, click the team you want.
- Confirm with OK when asked "Are you sure?".
- The session opens inside the team's workspace.
What changes
- The session is removed from its sprint and from any folder, because those belong to your personal workspace.
- The session no longer appears in your personal Sessions list.
Tips
- To keep your personal session and put a copy in the team, use Duplicate to Team in the same menu.
- To move a whole sprint with its sessions, use the same option on the sprint's row in the Sprints list.
