How to edit a team
Rename a team from its team page using Edit This Team. Administrators can also update license dates, seats and enterprise settings.
You can change a team's name from its team page. SolveNext and partner administrators can also update the team's license and enterprise settings there.
Before you start
- You must be a member of the team and have a Professional license.
- Most users can only change the Name. License dates, Seats, enterprise settings and Partner are only shown to SolveNext and partner administrators.
Steps
- Click TEAMS in the ADMIN section of the Instigator sidebar, then click the team name.
- At the top of the team page, click the menu (three dots) next to the team name.
- Click Edit This Team.
- On the Editing team page, change the Name or any other field you can see.
- Click Update Team. You return to the team page with a confirmation message.
To leave without saving, click Show this team or Back to teams.
Tips
- Under Team details, the team page shows the current name and number of users. Administrators also see the license, partner, dates and seats.
- Renaming a team doesn't affect its members or content. Everything in the team workspace stays where it is.
- To change who is on the team, use Add User and Remove on the team page instead. See Add users to a team.
