How to use a single drill (On the fly drills)

Run one drill on its own, without building a session, and find it again later under On the fly drills.

Sometimes you only need one exercise. Use drill now saves a personal copy of a library drill, called an "on the fly" drill, so you can run it without creating a session.

Before you start

  • Use drill now is only available in your personal workspace. In a team workspace, use Add drill to session instead.
  • You must be signed in.

Steps

  1. In the left sidebar, click Drill library and find the drill you want.
  2. Click the drill card to open its details.
  3. At the bottom of the window, click Use drill now.
  4. In the Drill configuration window, check the Name. You can change it, for example to include the group or date. Optionally add a Description with notes or attachments.
  5. Click Save. The drill page opens.
  6. On the drill page:
    • Click Click here to read the instructions before starting the drill to view the full drill details.
    • Click Miro to open a Miro board for the drill.
    • Use Edit or Delete to change or remove it.

Find your drill again

In the sidebar, under My work, click On the fly drills. The list shows each drill's name, duration and last update. You can sort by any column. Use the ... menu on a row for Instructions, Use Drill, Edit or Delete.

Tips

  • On the fly drills are private. To run a drill with your team, add it to a session with Add drill to session and share the session.
  • Use the drill's Printable Poster tab if you run it in person.
