How to do a search in the global search engine
Use the search box in the top bar to find drills, sessions, sprints and templates by name from anywhere in the Next Lab.
The global search box in the top bar finds drills, sessions, sprints and templates by name, from any page in the Instigator area.
Steps
- Click the search box in the top bar, next to the magnifying glass icon.
- Before you type, the dropdown shows:
- Most used drills.
- Recent sprints and sessions.
- View all, with shortcuts to Sprints, Sessions, Drill library and Template library.
- Start typing a word from the name you are looking for. Results update as you type.
- Each result has an icon that shows its type: drill, session, sprint or template.
- Click a result to open it. Drills open in the Drill Library, and sessions and sprints open on their own page.
- If nothing matches, you see "No results found".
What the search covers
- Drills from the Drill Library that your plan includes, searched in their name and text.
- Sessions and sprints you own or that are shared with you (up to 5 of each).
- Your own templates and global templates (sessions, sprints and projects).
Tips
- On small screens, the search box is at the top of the sidebar menu.
- To search only drills, with filters, use the Search content box in the Drill library instead.
