Opportunity resources overview
What opportunity resources are, which files and links you can attach, and how the AI assistants use them as context.
Opportunity resources are files and links you attach to an Innovation Opportunity, such as strategy documents, market research, screenshots or links to online tools. They keep the opportunity's context in one place for you, your team and the AI assistants.
Why it matters
Resources make an opportunity self-explanatory. Anyone opening it can find the supporting material without searching elsewhere. The AI assistants also read processed resources, so their recommendations are based on your real documents, not just the opportunity's name.
Key concepts
- File resources: files you upload with Choose a file. They are stored securely in Cloudinary.
- Link resources: web addresses you paste in Paste a link. The app tries to use the website's icon as the resource logo.
- Name: every resource needs a name. It is the text shown in the Resources list.
- AI processing: after you add a PDF or an image (PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP), the app reads its content in the background. As the form explains, uploaded files are read by Anthropic AI to understand the content. The processed content is then included as context when you use Advance with AI (Triage Assistant or Vision & Purpose Assistant) on the opportunity.
- Editing: you can change a resource's name, link or file. If you change the link or file, the content is processed again.

Resources on small bets
Small bets have their own resources for experiment evidence. You add those inside the hypothesis form. See How to create a small bet and record its outcomes, LFI and LFI implications.
