Tour of the Next Lab

Take the guided or video tour from the Home page and learn the main parts of the Next Lab screen.

The Next Lab includes a short guided tour and a video tour to help you find your way around. You can open both from the Instigator Home page whenever you like.

Steps

Click Home in the sidebar. On your first sign-in, the How to start? card opens automatically.
If the card is closed, click the info icon next to the Hi greeting at the top of the page.
Pick one of the options:
- Start the tour with your first session: opens the create session form and walks you through building your first session step by step. Click Exit tour whenever you want to stop.
- Take a video tour: plays the Video tour of the Next Lab.
- Create your first session: opens the create session form without the guided tour.
Close the card with the close icon in its top-right corner.

What you see on screen

Workspace switcher (narrow strip on the far left): My Work for your personal workspace, plus one square for each team you belong to.
Sidebar: Home, Drill library, Template library, your Sprints, Sessions and On the fly drills, Shared with me, and the link to Next Lab | Leader.
Header: search, the + menu (Create sprint, Create session, Use a Think Wrong drill), the ? menu with Help and Announcements, the Language selector, and the account menu.
Home page: an AI chat assistant on the left, plus your work summary, upcoming sessions and recent items. The New button creates a Sprint or Session. Find your team lets you search for a team to join.

Tips

Use the arrow icon at the top left of the header to collapse or expand the sidebar.
The Leader area (Next Lab | Leader) has its own home page focused on Innovation Opportunities and Portfolios.
